12a Grasmere Lodge is a privately owned holiday lodge situated at White Cross Bay, Windermere. The lodge features an open-plan living area with spacious bedrooms located at the rear of the property. It comprises two twin bedrooms and a master bedroom with an en suite. A family bathroom is centrally positioned within the lodge, making it an ideal choice for families and couples, accommodating up to six guests. The lodge is set on a generous plot, offering a large deck, a grassed lawn, and private parking. Conveniently located just a short walk from the main entertainment area and a small outdoor children’s play area, the lodge also ensures ample privacy for a tranquil stay.

Living Area

• Spacious open plan living area.

• Furniture includes 2 x 2 seater settees with side tables.

• For your entertainment there is a Smart TV.

• Feature fire surround with electric effect fire.

Kitchen and Dining Area

• Off the lounge is the dining area with a glass table and 4 chairs.

• Well-equipped fitted kitchen with a range style gas oven and hob.

• Built in fridge, freezer, dishwasher plus microwave, air fryer, kettle, Tassimo Coffee Machine, toaster, cutlery, crockery and utensils – generous storage space.

• Combined Washer/Dryer.

Family Bathroom

• The family bathroom has a large modern shower, toilet and sink and a shaving point/mirror plus heated towel rail.

What's Included

• A fully equipped kitchen for self-catering. All gas and electricity, bed linen and towels. Please bring your own swimming towels when using park leisure facilities. Iron and Ironing Board.

• WiFi Provided.

Accessibility

• 12a Grasmere is only accessed via 3 steps to the main door which is located to the side of the lodge.

• Alternatively, you can access into the lodge via double doors in front of the steps.

Outside Area

• The deck is fully enclosed, secure and gated. We ask that BBQ’s are not used.

• Double patio doors lead from the main living area onto a large deck to the front of the lodge.

• Extendable dining table with chairs seating up to 6 people.

Master Bedroom

• The master bedroom has a double bed with wardrobes and dressing table equip with hair
dryer.

• En-suite to the master.

• TV mounted on wall.

Second Bedroom

• The second bedroom has two full size single beds with option to join as a double upon request.

• Wardrobe and bedside table.

Third Bedroom

• The third bedroom has two single beds.

• Wardrobe and bedside table.

Other Information

• Full central heating and double glazing ensuring a comfortable stay all year round.

• Desirable Park Location.

Arrival and Departure

• Arrival time from 4pm

• Departure by 10.00am

Infants (Up to 24 months)

• A travel cot can be provided for an addition £15 charge. The travel cot will fit in the master bedroom. Please bring your own bedding for the travel cot.

• A highchair can be provided for an additional £10 charge.

Parking

• Parking space adjacent to lodge for 2 cars. Additional parking is available to the left of reception or around the park.

About the owners

We are Paul and Leah, proud parents of five children. Living just an hour’s drive from the Lake District, White Cross Bay has become our second home. Whenever we visit Bowness, we always choose to stay within the park. Our children love the sense of independence it provides, and the park’s combination of safety and entertainment for all ages has always suited our family perfectly.

Owning a holiday home has long been a dream of ours, and when 12a Grasmere became available, we knew it was the perfect fit. The location within the park is ideal, allowing us to keep an eye on our children while enjoying some much needed time for ourselves. As a busy family, we now have the perfect retreat to relax and recharge. We look forward to welcoming you to our holiday home!
